Immortals fenyx rising pc6/15/2023 The game's power curve is excellently done - while fighting against a simple bear at the beginning can prove fatal, you will feel like a god by the end of the game yourself, effortlessly cutting swaths throughout the enemy hordes. The more you explore, the more you can upgrade your stats, learn the powers of the gods and obtain their blessings, which power you up further. The combat system is active, with light and heavy attacks you can mix and match. The gameplay consists of exploring the lands of the gods 5 main areas and 2 small side areas. I don't get some of the negative reviews I had no problem with crashes, UPlay works fine (surprisingly) and it DOES work on the Steam Deck without any setup necessary or any problems I played it on there for a while. Not all of the humor lands, but most of it got a good chuckle out of me and helps keep the game light and fun while teaching you lots of cool mythology. The story is told very tongue-in-cheek the game does not take itself too seriously and remembers that it is, first and foremost, a game. You are constantly being told new small tales from greek mythology, even when just exploring and happening upon some ruins, or fighting a legendary foe. As a fan of anything mythology-related, the greek mythology is represented very well in this game. As Fenyx, you are the protagonist in the tale of Prometheus, exploring the lands of the gods to free and unite them against Typhon. Immortals: Fenyx Rising is a near-perfect game in my eyes.
